Mercedes-Benz’s next-generation S-Class have been spotted once again. The last few days have been a little dramatic as for the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class as spy shots have been hovering around it.
The size and proportions will match up to the current model but the track of the 2021 model will be slightly wider based on earlier test mules.
And it looks like the hood will be longer and lower. This will make it look impressive.
2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class
The current S-Class rides on a version of its predecessor’s architecture updated version. Every powertrain will be electrified, either with a plug-in hybrid or a mild-hybrid technology. It comes with trim levels. And most engines be either a 3.0-liter inline-6 or a 4.0-liter V8.
A battery-electric version will be absent as Mercedes plans to launch the EQS to cater for EV fans. For the 2021 model year, we are expecting the EQS previewed at the 2019 Frankfurt International Motor Show by the Vision EQS concept car.
It is good as the prototypes dropped all sides but the front and rear fascias giving us our best look at the big sedan’s shape.
The car flanks are quite clean and conservative. It has a more subtle and elegant look than the current car. The car handle is small and rounded as expected. What is quite surprising is that they are highlighted by chrome strips on the top edges. Which will enable them to be clearly visible even when they flush. Which makes it seem authentical to having handles that balance the shape of the body.

It comes with trim levels as the spy photos revealed. But we will get back on that later. The LED clusters will be relatively similar to what we have seen in the CLA and CLS and also the facelifted E-Class.
It is quite too early to give a final conclusion about the new 2021 Mercedes S-Class design. But we will be excited to know more as its debut is just about two months away.
Difference Between The Current And The New Mercedes-Benz S-Class
Since the front and rear are still covered, there is not much to talk about them. The headlights have become thinner compared to the current car. While the grille is really similar to the current car. The vertical taillights have given way to thin, horizontal units at the rear.
The design overall at the front does not really represent a major departure from the outgoing model. However, there are few tweaks that will be of great help to you in differentiating the current and the new generations of the sedan from each other. The major and biggest change ever spotted is the change represented by the headlights. It will help in separating the S-Class from the lesser models.
Mercedes stated that the new S-Class will be placed on sale by the end of the year. It will come with an enormous screen for the center stack and will have a radically different interior to the current Mercedes models. The car will also be stacked with many unique high-tech features with a 3D-instrument display and Augmented-reality heads-up display inclusive.
